Project manager & simulation specialist for construction processes

What you can expect from us

A complicated title, isn’t it? We call this role “Process Engineer” (PE). As a PE, you are the specialist for construction processes and the link between our customers’ construction activities and our simulation software.

What we build is more than just a visualization: if a single parameter changes — for example, a cycle time or a resource — the entire plan automatically adapts. This turns your simulation into a genuine management and decision-making tool for our customers.

More specifically:

• Based on construction schedules and planned construction methods, you create a simulation in which customers can adjust individual parameters and immediately see how those changes affect the overall plan.
• You discuss the construction process with customers, clarify open questions regarding sequencing and logistics, and translate the results into the simulation.
• Your feedback from the projects flows directly into the further development of our software, without detours through tickets or lengthy approval processes.
• We develop the software you work with entirely in-house and are currently also building our own internal processes and tools. Anyone joining us learns on two levels at the same time.

We are building something completely new: proprietary software for a service that has not existed in this form before. You will be involved from the very beginning as we develop this field together and can actively help shape it.

What we're looking for

• 3D environments and BIM software are familiar territory for you.
• A background in construction or IT is helpful, but not required. What matters more is your willingness to learn new tools and solve problems independently.
• You are confident in customer discussions with site managers and project managers, as well as in exchanges with our developers.
• You organize yourself, your projects, and your working environment in a structured and efficient way.

What we offer

• We bring the same transparency to our own organization that our simulation brings to our customers’ construction projects. You do not need to wait for permission: if you notice something that could work better, you are encouraged to tackle it yourself from day one.
• A high degree of flexibility in how you organize your working hours and location. Our offices in Würzburg and Biberach are of course available if you prefer working on site.
• Competitive benefits as part of a fair overall compensation package.
• Around 10 Process Engineers are currently working on well over 20 customer projects in parallel. You are not just a number — from the very beginning, you will take responsibility for your own project.

HOW TO APPLY

A CV is all we need — there’s no need to write a cover letter. Instead, briefly answer the following questions:A resume is all we need; there is no need to write a cover letter. Instead, please provide brief answers to the following:

• We talk a lot about simulation. What does simulation mean to you, and where do you see its potential added value in construction?
• What is your perspective on AI in your work? Where do you see its potential impact on your work with us, and what relevant knowledge or experience do you bring?
• What is one thing that absolutely must not be missing from your onboarding experience?
